Accel, a leading global venture capital firm, along with two other parties, has divested nearly five percent stake in Amagi Media Labs. They sold over one crore equity shares for Rs 587 crore via open market transactions. Notably, domestic mutual funds and an insurance company were part of the buyer's pool, alongside foreign investors. Following this development, Amagi Media Labs shares surged by 4.57 percent on the NSE.

Between August 10 to August 15, 2026, as many as 13 Indian startups from diverse sectors raised over $242 million in funding from investors. That is 4% down week-on-week from $252 million recorded in the previous week, when River Mobility raised $120 million. Bengaluru-based electric mobility startup Yulu topped this week's chart with a $93 million round from GEF Capital Partners, accounting for nearly 38% of the week's total capital. Four rounds crossed $20 million this week, and Yulu, Sigma Advanced Systems, Blacksmith and Centricity accounted for most of the week's capital between them. Sigma Advanced Systems raised $48.03 million for its defence and aerospace manufacturing business, while Blacksmith closed a $45 million round to grow its software testing platform. Bengaluru-based deeptech startup AlgoFET has raised Rs 15 crore in a pre-Series A funding round from Piper Serica, as it seeks to expand the infrastructure used to keep drones operating with limited human intervention. The startup said the raised funding would be used to develop its next generation of autonomous infrastructure products, expand in-house manufacturing and strengthen intellectual property across charging, battery management, docking systems, firmware and fleet software. Healthcare infrastructure startup Tross has raised pre-seed funding led by All In Capital, with participation from DeVC. The overall size of the round was not disclosed, although All In Capital said it invested $400,000 through its Golden Ticket programme. Tross said the funding will be used to accelerate product development, expand its engineering team, add integrations with electronic health record (EHR) systems and payer platforms, and strengthen its presence in the US healthcare market. Home-grown hygiene products maker Nobel Hygiene files DRHP with SEBI for IPO
Mumbai-based Nobel Hygiene Limited, the manufacturer of Friends adult diapers and Teddyy baby diapers, has filed its DRHP with SEBI for an IPO. The proposed IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares worth up to Rs 150 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 15,511,082 shares by existing shareholders. The selling shareholders include promoters Kamal Kumar Johari and Kamini Kamal Johari, as well as Orbit Investment Holdings Pte Ltd, Sixth Sense India Opportunities III, Bennett Trading LLP, Manish Dharanendra Ladage, Seema Manish Ladage and Lashit Lallubhai Sanghvi. Orbit Investment Holdings is an investment vehicle managed by healthcare-focused private equity firm Quadria Capital.
